Can You Really Make Money From Blogs?

I have have been reflecting a lot lately on whether I am going to reach my goal of becoming a full time internet marketer in the next 2 years. Right now I think I’m a decade of learning and tweaking away simply because there seems to be so much to do. Let me explain:

1. I want to be earning $5000 per month passively by April 2012.

2. I have a passion for wanting to help other people in a similar position as myself make a difference financially for themselves and their families. I have a wife and 2 children and the cost of daily life just seems to be on the increase with no sign of the prices ever coming down. This means I have to supplement my income by earning extra cash over the internet. I don’t want to say no to my kids when they want to go on a school trip or go out for lunch with a friend, when the issue is about not having enough money. Let’s face it poverty sucks big time.

3. My main focus is to use my blog as a springboard to getting traffic to my products because it is a much lower setup cost than conventional custom built websites which cost hundreds of dollars to have designed.

4. Blogs offer the chance to get indexed much quicker but more importantly are better for discussing daily topics of interest with my readers.

I have a few questions to ask you:

==> Are you building a list of happy buyers from your blog offers?

==> Are you spending hours everyday to add high quality content and posts to your blog?
