Welcome to day one on my crusade to owning, what most would envy, “the lifestyle of a successful Internet Marketer”.
If any of you have been in the internet marketing business for any length of time you would agree that in the beginning things can go horribly wrong….
It probably started out with you visiting an internet marketing seminar or conference, or maybe a friend telling you to “check this out” and sticking a website link under your nose for you to look at later in your own time, or even listening in on a webinar or teleseminar. Problem is that if you are a complete novice a lot of what is said and sold(no matter how content rich) can go straight over your head. I know, it did with me at first.
Then there is all the terminology that is complete alien language when you hear it for the first time and may even cause you to reconsider whether Internet Marketing is really something you want to persue.Just as you are digesting these points someone asks you “so what niche are you going to market to?” or “what listbuilding techniques are you going to use?” or “Are you going to look at becoming an affiliate marketer?” Your jaw immediately drops and your expression changes to one of complete frustration. When you regain your senses you find that the only words that come out of your mouth are ” umm…umm what is affiliate marketing or a niche or a list..umm..umm?”
