What Is Traffic And Where Do I Get It From?

Before I give you the next page of my internet marketers diary about generating free traffic to your site or blog I want to take a step back and formerly introduce myself. My name is  Mark Hughes and I am a recent convert to the concept of setting up an online business. For those of you who do not know me that is my photo on the left.

Now that the formalities are out of the way lets get started with our next step on the internet based road to riches. The first question I asked myself months ago is “what is traffic?”. The next logical question was “how do I get traffic to my online website or blog?”

Well firstly there is the paid traffic route such as Google adwords and Search Engine Optimization which delivers very fast traffic but at a high price if you do not know what you are doing. I am playing it safe with methods of generating free traffic and I hope you will enjoy the content I have to offer and try the process along with me.

The first thing I learnt was that blogs are the best free way of communicating your message to would be prospects and as you can see this is what I am using to convey my messages to you right now. I will get into more detail later about how blogs fit into the bigger picture later down the lline. Firstly I would like you to read up a little about blogs and how they work for you in the long run.
